Hi. I think that is fabulous that you have been transcribing music for him and learning about braille music. Are you doing this by hand, or are the files sent to a braille embosser? If you have access to a braille embosser, have you considered a subscription or purchase of the dancing dots software? It allows for someone cited to scan in or put in by hand print music notation, and then create a brill file. Or, if he had a braille note taker or display, he could read the files electronically. As a blind person, I use this software to produce instrumental music that I can either read on a display or send to an embosser for brailling. Just mentioning this as a possible resource in case you'd like to explore it. Www.dancingdots.com

Keep up the great work!
Chris

Hadley does not offer any course currently that focuses on percussion transcription. I am in search of a resource that will allow me to learn the transcription guidelines for percussion music. Does anyone have experience, advice, or a recommended resource? Thanks in advance!
