[Menvi-discuss] Question about preference for multi line Braille display

Hi Chris, this is a very good and interesting question. Keep in mind, I
have never tried a multi-line braille display before, so it'd be useful for
those who have tried a multi-line display to chime in at some point. I
agree that for piano music in particular, the odd number of lines can
definitely cause potential havoc. That said, an odd number of staves would
be less of a problem for, say, organ music, which has three staves (though
there are far fewer people who play the organ so optimizing it for piano
makes sense in a way). Some chamber music and orchestral scores will have
odd numbers of lines depending on how many instruments are in a particular
score, but again, it depends.
