I’m forwarding this release from Sao Mai about the release of MuseScore 4.2 with the new feature of Braille input.  There are some links within it below of videos prepared by James Boden & Peter Jonas on how it all works.

For your information:

Finally, today on December 18, 2023, Musescore has released version 4.2 with many new features... But especially for users with visual impairments, Musescore 4.2 has the feature of music notation using the 6-key braille input. Sao Mai Center is very pleased to contribute to the development of the 6-key braille music notation feature in this version 4.2, as well as the feature to display braille music notation simultaneously with the print notation, which was released in Musescore 4.1.
To enable live Braille translate and input, Go to the Edit menu -> Preferences -> Braille and select Show Braille panel.
