During my undergrad, I took conducting one and conducting too. I did not need the diagrams and Attempto format because they set aside a separate time with each of my professors to be physically shown the conducting patterns. During the first semester when I took conducting one, I had a reader they would play the conducting examples on the piano and then I would decide which ones I wanted to conduct for the class. Mike profesxor question ducting truly was able to play the conduct of examples right off the score in the book. However, if you can get the textbook, I would definitely recommend doing so especially if you could get it brailled. Hope this helps.
