[Menvi-discuss] Question about what a theory example is saying

I read figured bass in Braille music. In figured bass, an accidental, such
as a sharp sign, usually means that that chord will be a second inversion
chord.

I'm not going to be much help, but I can tell you that what looks like a
fourth interval in this case is a number sign showing you the number that is
under the printed note. Also the sharp sign followed by K means an isolated
accidental.
I looked in the Music Code and can find Table 27 where the Figured Bass
signs are but not much explanation. Didn't you have an explanation of
figured bass in class? If you have someone look at the print with you while
you're looking at the braille, they can tell you what is in print and you
can then understand what the braille is telling you. Sorry I can't be of
more help.
Please, someone else, jump in.

Then it shows up a little later with a 4th interval sign, sharp.
