[Menvi-discuss] question about prospective voice teachers

Hello,
They have a right to know a little. If you use paratranset, they need to
know that you may be very early or late, and same leaving. If your parents
are taking you, they need to expect you will be there on time. If you are
taking the bus they need to know you will be on time or very late.
Frankly, they are placing a bet on you. If you come they get played. If you
don't they don't. Some teachers ask for payment before you come, and in that
case how you arrive is none of their business, although it can help with
grace time, but when a teacher is placing an hour of their life a week on if
you will come, it is rather important.
Thanks,
Brandon Keith Biggs

Subject: [Menvi-discuss] question about prospective voice teachers
Hello,
I talked to a possible voice teacher last week. An issue came up
I would like to ask your opinion about. She started the
interview off by asking me questions about what kind of
technology I use and stuff like that. She's probably curious but
she then preceded to ask me how I plan to get to my lessons. Do
you think that a teacher has the right to ask a student a
question like that they probably would not ask a sighting
student? Has any blind vocalist ever experienced something like
this before who can give me insight on how I can handle it with
talking to other teachers?
Thanks,
