[Menvi-discuss] Trumpet music

I would use in-accords to allow the reader to discern the parts. Always keep
trumpet 1 at the front of the in-accord, so that the two trumpets don't get
confused.
Also, I would transcribe the cue notes as an in-accord, with a word sign and
the notation "cue". In vocal music, I sometimes substitute the letter "q"
for the word "cue" to save space (with a transcriber's note, of course).
The TN is your best friend!

I write my trumpet 1 and trumpet 2 as two different pieces. And braille the
rests.

cue notes - just indicate the number of bars rest. However, this seems a bit
mean given that the rest of the band will know what to listen for in, this
instance, the woodwind before the trumpets play again. Am I reading the
rules correctly or could write the cue notes on a separate line. Much
easier for me to just braille six bars rest!
