I sing tenor and trumpet is soprano, so there might be a definite
connection...have a fe3w trumpeter friends, one is sort of famous,

other was just asked to play the baritone for a brass quartet, and I
just asked him to record "Up Jumped Spring" for me and well need I say
more about lip bloat, been there done that got the t-shirt! The other
trumpeter some of you might know of is Jim Gammon.
