Hello,
Lime allowed with the lime scripts would be best for him to read with Jaws on a PC.
http://www.dancingdots.com/limelighter/limelightermain.htm
Lime lighter from dancing dots would be the best for him to use for large print and the PC.

It would be best if he learned how to use a screen reader just in general, as screen readers are hands down faster than reading print and if he has the justification for one, especially if he has a degenerative form of blindness, the Lime aloud scripts would work the best with Jaws.
Unfortunately Macs just don’t have the amount of time put into their programs to make voice over work with everything, so i f your sun wants to be using a screen reader, a PC is the way to go.
There is Sonar for audio production, also from dancing dots, and that’s the best sound editor for the blind. Pro Tools is supposed to be somewhat usable on the Mac, but I’ve not known anyone who’s used it.
Thank you and please let me know if I answered your question!
Thank you,

Brandon Keith Biggs

Hello. Does anybody on this list have any experience with the programs Sibelius & PhotoScore Ultimate?

We are considering these programs for our son to be used on a MacBook so he can compose, edit, scan and enlarge music. We have researched many programs and believe these will work the best with the equipment we have to use. However, we have not heard of anyone using this combination of programs.

We would welcome any input you have about these programs. Thank you very much for your time.

Kellé
