Hi Dewald, I mean, there are various catalogues of braille music held by
national libraries for the blind e.g NLS in the US or RNIB in the UK, but
if you aren't from that country, you usually can't download anything from
there. A lot of it is primarily a matter of what music you need personally
and getting it transcribed. If you are encountering incorrect notes or
symbols going from MusicXML to braille, that is generally not the fault of
braille translation, but rather an error in the MusicXML file itself. The
only way to fix it is to have a sighted person look over the notation/XML
file. Going from PDF to MusicXML to braille is always going to result in
errors without sighted assistance because PDF to XML involves an optical
recognition process that is error prone. I hope this helps.
