Hi All,
I have just set up a new group for all things MuseScore and Accessibility.
Who is this group for?
* Blind & visually Impaired users of MuseScore
* Teachers of blind & VI students whose students might use MuseScore
* Transcribers who use or want to learn how to use MuseScore
* Anyone interested in making scores on MuseScore so that they are
accessible with a screen reader
* Anyone who wants to make large print and modified Stave Notation on
MuseScore.
My hope is that if we have a good mix of both blind and sighted users and
those who are very skilled and those just learning that we will be able to
assist each other to make using this software easy for all and grow the
amount of people creating and sharing high quality accessible scores.
So this discussion group is for both the MuseScore Notation software and the
MuseScore.com score sharing library.
If you are interested in joining, just click the link below and send a blank
e-mail. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from groups.io which you
again need to respond to by simply replying and sending without adding
anything.

If you have any questions you can just reply here if they are of a general
nature or for specific help e-mail:
MuseScoreAccessibility+owner at groups.io
<mailto:MuseScoreAccessibility+owner at groups.io>
I should just note that this is in no way an official forum of MuseScore.
They do have a number of official forums, but not one dedicated to
accessibility. But in particular I wanted to create this as many in our
community find it much easier to participate in a group that can be used
solely via e-mail without having to log into a website to post or check
notifications.
Jeanie
