[Menvi-discuss] Sixteenth notes groupings rule

Hi All, This is my first question for this group. I'm confused by when the sixteenth notes start to look like eighth notes when they are grouped together. I notice in groupings of four, there will be a sixteenth note and the rest will look like eighth notes but we treat them as sixteenth notes.  When I have a measure that truly has eighth notes and sixteenth notes in it, I'm confused about which are actually sixteenth notes. I've read the Music Braille Code book but I'm still not 100% clear on the rule. I'm wondering if one of you would kindly take the time to explain, Thanks in advance. I hope my question is clear.
