Hello Dana,

My name is Noah Carver. I am a second year bachelor of music candidate at
Eastman School of Music, where I study vocal performance. I’m writing with
high recommendation for both Kathleen Cantrell at Spellbound Braille and
Patrick Jansen at Braille Music and More.

Kathleen has transcribed the great majority of the music braille which I
have used over the past five years. Her work is superb and she is a
consummate professional. She is great to work with and simply fantastic at
what she does. Beyond her work as a transcriber, she is also a musician who
performs in the Greater New York City area as well as a lovely human being.

I don’t have any personal experience with Patrick Jansen, however he
transcribed two theory textbooks which I use here at Eastman, and his work
has also been superb. Like Kathleen, he is a well-respected music braille
transcriber who again does excellent work.

Finally, attached are two PDFs containing the text of your original emails
to the list as well as the replies which you received on-list.
