[Menvi-discuss] Musescore Playback Question

Hi,

 

I have just had a student send me their theory homework done on a Musescore
file which I have had created with the elements from the Trinity theory book
already in place so they can just add their answers.

 

For some reason the version they have saved and sent me won't play.  When I
arrow along the notes I can hear the letter names, etc read out by NVDA, but
no music sounds.  Space bar will not do anything either.

 

My guess is that maybe the student has somehow changed some playback
settings?

Is there a volume control they may have turned down or some other setting
and how would I get to those?
