[Menvi-discuss] Rhythm Sheets

Hi Steph,

No they are standard print music notation. I made these sheets many years
ago and have a set on laminated cards that I use with my students so was
keen to make a Braille version that I can now read. But they would work
equally well the other way round with a blind student using the Braille
version and sighted teacher using the print version. Or of course both
reading either Braille or print.

I know one of the free softwares I've downloaded recently will print out the
Braille dots rather than emboss. Might have been Braille Blaster? If not try
Sao Mai or I could check Perky Duck and send you a dxb file, but don't think
it was that one.

I'll definitely check these out. Do the print versions contain simulated
braille dots? If so, I'd love to use them as a demo of braille music for my
violin teacher!

Hoping I haven't already posted this to either group as I had a sense of
Deja'Vu as I went to create this e-mail, but can't see anything in my sent
items suggesting I am getting seriously forgetfull!

Attached is a set of both print and Braille rhythm sheets. Hopefully all
matching if my Brailling of the rhythms is accurate!

They are Graded from sheet one being first notes of crotchet, minim,
semibreve only, then subsequent sheets introduce quavers, rests, dotted
crotchets, syncopations, semiquavers, triplets, compound times, etc.

I have Sibelius files for these also if anyone wanted them to edit further.
