Hi Andrew,

You might be able to find some things by searching online. I typed in "play
chords on mandolin youtube tutorials" and got this as the top search result:

I listened to the video, and although the player/teacher (Jackson Emmer)
shows close-ups of the finger placements on each string for visual learners,
he does a good job of explaining which finger to put down on what fret on
each particular string, and he isolates how those notes will sound separate
from the entire chord.

The above link only shows how to play G, C, and D chords, but if he teaches
like this on more advanced chords, this might be worth a try.

I wish you luck in your endeavor. The mandolin is a fun little instrument!

Hi my name is Andrew.

I wrote in about the Mandolin few weeks ago actually  however decided
to go for it and learn it Anyway  i I am looking for teaching material
I know about Bill browns stuff but I am not sure if there is anybody
else that might have material as well that would be descriptive enough
for blind people I am not sure if there is anybody in canada that
cells learning material I mostly want to learn cords not into doing
notes but into doing cords and doing songs.  but want to do gospel
music on it. theythere may not be any canadians producing
instructional materials for by ear but just wondered if there is
online spots to get instruction on the Mandolin and stuff.
