I am Stephanie Pieck in the United States. You might be able to buy books from the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) in England. They don’t have the Piano Adventures series, but their Piano Time series (put out by Oxford University Press) is quite good, especially for younger students. The books are available in print and widely used in England. The early books (before Book 1) are “Fun for Ten Fingers” and “Tunes for Ten Fingers” and “More Tunes for Ten Fingers.” There are brief descriptions in the braille that can be helpful. Some of the activities that are too visual aren’t transcribed, but there is a note on those pages explaining this, and it is not enough to take away from the book as a whole.

 

Try contacting RNIB by e-mail; I think you can place international orders by calling them, although I haven’t done so in quite a while.

Dear  Jeanie, I had written to you of list, since I didn't get any response, I thought of writing to you here as well! I'm Ruby from Bangalore India, 

 

I am teaching sighted Children from 10 years I usually have a sepperate books for diagrams, I show the students when it comes to chrotchet or Quavers or Semibreve Ties and slurs and articulation and so on. but, if we can get, the pictures and the diagrams in the same books with the music, that would be awesome. so,  please can you tell me how and where to buy these My Piano adventures books? CNIB and ABC are they library in US? indians are not allowed to become members! Please write and tell me, any help is appreciated.
