[Menvi-discuss] Blind opera singers support group

Hello all you gorgeous people! 
I am emailing in an unofficial capacity to gather all us wildly passionate opera singers who are hoping for a network of support, potential professional networking, and a group that will possibly work toward ideas for further employment and/or raising awareness for blind opera singers on the local level, as well as other areas. 
I do not currently have any paid opportunities on standby, and I am not being paid for this outreach at this moment, so please know that moving forward. Haha! Methinks it's time we start gathering and talking a bit about how we can work toward changing this industry. :) 
If you're interested in taking part in this group or know any other disabled opera singer or allies of blind singers who might be interested in being involved here, please email me off list at: cristina at theblindsoprano.com and I'll start putting together a spreadsheet with all our email addresses. 
Please email me off list by this coming Saturday, April 22 with your email address, as well as 'any email address of those who you know for sure are interested in taking part in this unofficial group.
I have emailed the first batch of people today, and I am hoping to add anyone who might like to participate via email or in a call we might schedule next week. I acknowledge I was late in emailing MENVI in particular. If you email me by this Saturday, I will send you the email sent to everyone today, and I'd love to also know if you'd like to be involved in the call that has yet to be scheduled for next week. If so, please send me your general availability for next week, and I'll try to schedule this for when most people are available.
