[Menvi-discuss] A Searchable National Registry of Music Teachers and Transcribers for the Visually Impaired

David,

On behalf of MENVI staff and all members of the network, I thank you for
this long awaited announcement and most valuable resource!

Such is not unlike how the MENVI network itself was born. It came at a time
- nearly a quarter century ago - when unification of those in need was
critically lacking at every turn. Experienced transcribers, technology, and
those producing wonderful assistive products emerge now at a steady rate.
But support and continuing education for those who teach VI music remains
in the dark ages. Now educators, including those who specialize in the
teaching of music braille reading and pedagogy, can be recognized and
accessed by students, schools, families, and all venues everywhere that
search for them.

My heartfelt support and gratitude go to this greatly needed effort.

Sincerely,
Richard Taesch
