I’ve seen some of the lessons. I’m amazed that you could program the braille without there being a separate braille display involved. I know NLS has started digitizing some of the braille guitar music, I also Covid has slowed things down quite a bit. I haven’t gone on in a while to see just how much they’ve been able to do.

Hi MENVI Friends,
I’m a new member, and I’m excited to be connected.
My name is Matt Hinsley. Through my nonprofit organization in Austin, Texas, I have had a chance to work with Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired to help build guitar classes there over the past twelve years.
Along the way we created letsplayguitar.org <http://letsplayguitar.org/> which is a free website with 45 progressive pieces in braille with multiple audio guides for each step to instruct both braille music reading and also the guitar learning necessary for each piece of music.
The braille can be downloaded as .brf files for local embossing, or we can ship the packets for the cost of shipping.
The course follows a classical guitar learning and literacy pathway from beginner who is new to guitar through intermediate level with reading fluency in first position on the guitar. It’s currently available in English and also in Montenegrin for use in the Balkans.
Anyhow, I’d love for people to use it! And I’m more than happy to talk with anyone about it, both teachers and students. And I’d love feedback as well so we can make it the best it can be.
Thank you all!
Matt
