[Menvi-discuss] Braille music signs

Good day everyone

Hope this mail finds you well. I have encountered something in a score that
I do not understand. This score was a Sibelius score that I converted
through a digital braille converter. What does it mean when there is a dot
5 before rest signs? I have figured out that those are unnecessary rests
and aren't in the music?
 Please help me because I'm confused.
