It would probably be easier just to hire a transcriber to do the music! These pieces are usually very short and can be done very quickly and cheaply by a certified transcriber.
Feel free to email me off list if you are interested in chatting more.

Subject: [Menvi-discuss] Resources for Scanning & Editing Music for GoodFeel

Hello.

We are trying to find someone who can scan and edit music for GoodFeel. Our
school has purchased the GoodFeel program so they can provide accessible
music for my son who is in choir. What we are missing is someone who can
edit the music once it is scanned to ensure accuracy. I believe this means
that the person would have to be able to sight read the sheet music as well
as read Braille music. No one in his VI department knows how to read music,
much less Braille music.

Can anyone tell us about any resources available who would be able to
provide this service in a timely manner? We are in Michigan, but I don't
think we need to limit ourselves to Michigan. The school would be able to
either email or mail the music to be prepared and then it can be emailed to
the VI department so they can emboss it for the student. Basically, we need
someone who can commit the time to do this in a timely fashion. I would
assume that payment arrangements can be made with the school.

We have been pursuing this since the beginning of the school year and still
do not have it resolved. We would greatly appreciate any assistance or
input on this matter.

Thank you all for your time. It is greatly appreciated.
