I'm talking about different clef signs in print---tenor clef or alto clef or
C clef. In braille we write in F and G clefs only and don't use the clef
signs (usually) but in print there are various clef signs which put the
middle C on various lines or spaces. Not the same ones so we have to
transpose. Transcribers transpose all of these clef signs into actual
pitches for the blind reader so they don't have to do any transposing.
