You might discuss your needs with Dr. John Hanson, head of the Music Section
at NLS (jhan at loc.gov). He is interested in expanding the NLS collection in
various ways, and would doubtless like to know about modern method books
that should be added. Dr. Hanson might be able to commission the
transcription of one or more of your desired books.

Subject: [Menvi-discuss] Braille Music books
Hello,
I am looking into getting a few different method books for my instrument.
(Trumpet) I have the Arban's book (which is a very well known book if you
are a brass player). The Library of Congress/National Library Service has
that book and a few others I have. But unfortunately, they don't have all
the books I'm looking for. LOC/NLS seems to only have the older books, while
I am looking for more modern books like "Herbert L. Clark's Technical
Studies" and Vincent Cichowicz method books.
Do any of you know of a Braille music resource that might have more modern
up to date books like these?
Thanks,
Winona
