I'm enrolled in the course, as well.  It covers compound meters, without a
lot of explanation! Such as:  six-eight, and nine-eight, and it also
discusses beaming 16th notes as triplets!

honestly, there is no substitute for just doing it. I'm guessing 
you are just playing things in 3/4 and 4/4 time? I doubt they are 
doing anything like 7/4 or 15/8 in that course. *grin*

Do you have a metronome?
