[Menvi-discuss] Teaching sighted students proper beaming of notes--question

Hi,

I am preparing sighted students for the ABRSM theory exams and have a question about the proper way to beam smaller-value notes.

If there are four eighth notes consecutively within a measure, should they be beamed as a group of four, or as two separate pairs?
