I did not get the jokes that Bill posted.
Here is the music joke archive on my website:

Please let me know what needs to be added.

They just like tooting their horns! :P
And they're just like tenors, always making loud noise with all the extra
hot air they're full of! Perhaps trumpet players are attracted to each
other, because I don't remember the last time I met a trumpet player... I
just hear them having diva wars with the tenors while they're supposed to be
performing.
I've never herd any jokes about bass singers... Perhaps we're just too
dangerous to get riled up? Because we joke back where as tenors just make
loud noises out of their noses. (And trumpet players can't seem to stop
tooting their horn long enough to say anything intelligible from their
constantly puckered lips.)
Thanks,
Brandon Keith Biggs

Yes, that was a joke but, like most jokes, it is funny because we can relate
to it on some level. There is a certain personality that gravitates toward
playing that trumpet. Of course, seriously speaking, some of the nicest
people I have ever known are trumpet players. But, to varying degrees, we
share a common personality trait of, let's say, having a certain presence.
Hard to explain because I'm not sure I understand it all myself. I'll bet
somebody has done some research on the influence of personality on which
instruments people choose to play.

Hard to believe trumpet players are so conceited. Are they just joking?
