[Menvi-discuss] Need Help Interpreting a Chord Symbol

Hi Dani,
Unfortunately that must be an old transcription because the chord name is
beginning with a letter sign (dots 56)and then the cap sign (dot 6) and then
the letter C. Next is a number sign (dots 3456) and a lowered 5 (dots 26)
and a normal 5 (dots 15). I'm not sure what this means - what's a C 5 5 ??
Anyway, the pattern back then for chord names is letter sign, cap, letter
for the chord name - and then other things like the number sign if chord is
7th, or an m for minor, or maj for major7 etc. The modern chord symbols
don't begin with the letter sign and all numbers in the chord name are in
normal position and two number signs are used if there are two numbers in
the chord name.
I have a free braille chart of chord names on my website that might help,
but it isn't complex jazz chords, just the basics. It's at the bottom of
this page: http://www.ctdcreations.com/braille/transcriptions.html

Subject: [Menvi-discuss] Need Help Interpreting a Chord Symbol

Hi, Everyone.
I downloaded The 666 Fake Songbook from Web-
Braille and am having trouble understanding a chord symbol that comes up
in You're All I Want for Christmas (volume 29).
It looks like some kind of fifth chord. In ASCII it looks like this:
;,c#5e
What is it supposed to be?
Thanks,
Dani
