[Menvi-discuss] German Resources

Hi.

Have you looked at the library of Congress? It's possible that they
have something. I also have a German book that you might be
interested in that I am done with. I used it at intermediate level,
so I'd have to look at it to see if it is basic enough. It may not
be.

Of course, I'd be willing to work with you on German any time. The
hard part about taking German at an introductory level(and this goes
with any language) is the amount of images used in the textbook. In
order to get the sighted people to connect witht he words is to show a
picture. Obviously, this does not work for the blind, so braille
books are modified. Workbooks are even more fun. I'm sure there are
also online resources, but I strongly recommend using braille as much
as you can when learning another language.

Hope this helps.
