Hi Michel,
I have been taking piano lessons for twelve years and learned to 
play by ear.  I played and sang by ear until this year when I 
learned braille music.  I think learning to read music in Braille 
would benefit you in the long run because then you can learn 
along with everyone else.  I'd be happy to answer any questions 
you may have regarding the music code so feel free to write me 
offlist if you need anything.
