In regards to jazz music theory,, my friend, pianist George Glover,
who I've sat in with his trio and his wife, Nita, before the place we
performed at went out of business, has a web site called
georgeglover.com and I'm linking you to a wonderful resource, just be
aware I can't really get the flash player to work, but will personally
email him, and I think you should do the same to let him no how screen
reader friendly the player is: george at georgeglover.com and tell him I
sent you.

"To me, music that breaks your heart is the music that stays with you
forever. It's one thing to be melancholy and one thing to be sophisticated,
but when you get the two of them together in a way people can relate to,
then I think you're on to something. You want the sophistication to lie in
the purity of the sound, the beauty of the arrangements, and the quality of
the performances."-Trumpeter Chris Botti
