I would suggest that you contact accessibility at apple.com , as Mac computers
have built-in adaptive software. Check out this page:
http://www.apple.com/accessibility/
I quote: "Apple includes assistive technology in its products as standard
features — at no additional cost. For example, iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Mac
OS X include screen magnification and VoiceOver, a screen-access technology,
for the blind and visually impaired."
The Mac lab at the school may already have everything your student needs to
access the software. If Windows had the same commitment to accessibility as
Mac, that might be bad for Freedom Scientific's business, so I would not
rely on them for information regarding Mac computers.
