Dear MENVI members:

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Bettye Krolick
last evening. She is known to most of us as "The Godmother of Braille
Music."

More will follow as soon as it becomes available.

The inspiration for your network, and the enormous advances in music
braille and its technology, can be greatly attributed to Bettye and to all
of those whose lives she touched.

As for myself, she was a mentor, and a substantial inspiration for the
methodology and presentation of my courses. She will be missed beyond
words.
