[Menvi-discuss] piano technique: curving your fingers

I give my students a tennis ball to help demonstrate the feel of the curve
the fingers should have.  I have them put their hands on top of the ball.

I'm taking a principles of Music Making class.  My instructor has 
been trying to get me to curve my fingers when I play the piano? 
Does anyone have any images or exercises that help with curving 
of the fingers?
