You might be able to buy books from the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) in England. They don’t have the Piano Adventures series, but their Piano Time series (put out by Oxford University Press) is quite good, especially for younger students. The books are available in print and widely used in England. The early books (before Book 1) are “Fun for Ten Fingers” and “Tunes for Ten Fingers” and “More Tunes for Ten Fingers.” There are brief descriptions in the braille that can be helpful. Some of the activities that are too visual aren’t transcribed, but there is a note on those pages explaining this, and it is not enough to take away from the book as a whole.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>Try contacting RNIB by e-mail; I think you can place international orders by calling them, although I haven’t done so in quite a while.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>Good luck!<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>Stephanie<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'>From:</span></b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif"'> Menvi-discuss [<a href="mailto:menvi-discuss-bounces@menvi.org">mailto:menvi-discuss-bounces@menvi.org</a>] <b>On Behalf Of </b>ruby alphonse via Menvi-discuss<br><b>Sent:</b> Wednesday, February 01, 2023 5:18 AM<br><b>To:</b> This is for discussing music and braille literacy<br><b>Cc:</b> ruby alphonse<br><b>Subject:</b> Re: [Menvi-discuss] Accessible piano method books for teaching beginners<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Dear Jeanie, I had written to you of list, since I didn't get any response, I thought of writing to you here as well!
