No, you would learn about the industry side of things by going to a 
college that offered a program whose focus is on the music 
business. I'm asuming by "industry" that you are talking about the 
business part of music business. if you are instead talking about 
recording studios and associated technology then yes, you'd go to a 
college with a program focused on music technology, recording audio 
engineering etc.

Or, just start reading absolutely every book you can find on 
whatever aspect of the industry you are pursuing, although this 
won't give you credencials on paper, or force you to meed course 
deadlines, or motivate you. Self-study is hard, unless you are 
extremely driven and motivated.
