Forgot to add - Sibelius allows you to change the colour of the notes etc, and print it out, modified, onto non glare type, non see through, bleed through or yellow/coloured paper. As some of my students don't like to have their music on paper that is a different colour to the rest of the class I suggest the teacher copies/prints ALL the music onto the same paper.
Finished, I think

They at RNIB are producing Modified Staff Notation (MSN) using Sibelius to enlarge the music, then reduce the amount of white space this causes - I think she calls it "Hunt for the Note" - and you can thicken the staff, beams and stem lines etc. Amongst other things you can enlarge the staccato sign by a great percentage and not end up with the treble cleff filling the whole page!

We're also fortunate that MOST of our school music departments in Queensland use Sibelius so there is ready access to it and the class music teachers can already use it. Also, in Australia and maybe elsewhere, there is an education price for Sibelius so is affordable for most.
