[Menvi-discuss] SATB Writing?

Having the braille also couldn't hurt. Regarding reading books with human
voices, it does take some getting used to, and I regret to have to tell you
that the readers of the Tonal Harmony book lack finesse. But with the
downloadable books you have easy control of the speed, without affecting
pitch.

I suggest reading even the early chapters of the book. You will be able to
breeze through them quickly, but that way you can be sure to gain what might
not have even been taught.

Hello,
I see RFB and D has really come a long way from those big clunky players! I
love it!
I both found the textbook my teacher is using currently as well as the one
you recommended! This is really cool! I will listen to these and see how I
like them.
I really am not a fan of listening to human voices reading books, but I
guess I will have to start getting used to it. There are so many theory
books I want to read!
Thank you!!! So would you recommend me read along with the Braille book if I

can from NLS as well?

The Tonal Harmony book from Learning Ally is read by several readers in
turn, and they play the examples on a piano.

Hello,
No, my book stinks, so I just Google everything. How does an audio book work

when it is theory? Do they read the examples? Because I'm never going to be
able to get through a Braille theory book, but I could probably get through
a theory book I'm reading with a Braille display or that is in audio.
Thanks,

well, listening carefully to playback is about my best advice. If
you are willing to try Sibelius 5.25 and the Sibelius Access
scripts, there are probably plug-ins available for Sibelius that
can scan your score for problems such as parallel fifths.

Hopefully you're working from a good textbook, such as Costka and
Payne's Tonal Harmony. I believe Learning Alley have that one in
audio form.
