Dear Stephanie,
Maybe it has something to do with JAWS configuration? Which verbosity
are you using? I have always stick with the simplest - beginner.
Go to JAWS menu, utility, configuration manager, press enter. When the
window is opened, go to the menu bar, option, user option. You can
switch verbosity there.
