Hi,

I have an IPhone4 and was just wondering if anyone has had success
with using the Garage Band app, or something pretty similar to it. I
wanted to see if it was compatible with Voiceover before I bought it.
I'd imagine that it would be because it's produced by Apple, but I've
been surprised by some Apps in both positive and negative ways in the
past. If anyone has tried it and has had success with it then I would
love the input.

Speaking of Apps of the musical nature, I know the subject of
metronome apps has come up in the past. Unfortunately I'm not
reporting an app that is accessible with Voiceover, but for anyone who
has some residual vision I've had success with Tap/Tempo. It's a free
app, but the reason you have to have some vision to use it is because
you need to turn voiceover off to use it. It's pretty simple though.
The tempo numbers show up in bright blue on black, which at least for
me is good enough contrast and they're pretty large. There are only
three buttons, the biggest of which is in the center and that's the
one you tap to get your tempo. The other two are for playing the
metronome and muting it. There are also two sliding controls towards
the bottom for the time signature, and as long as you keep your finger
to the left or right and listen to the metronome you can change the
meter without necessarily seeing the numbers. Just a thought... I
wasn't sure if this app was brought up already or not.

Thanks,
