Brandon's post got me thinking.
What about that Andrea Boccelli guy?
I know next to nothing about opera, but even I know he's a "blind 
opera singer", as just about everyone seems to ask if I've heard of 
him.

Anyway, what did he do coming up? I assume he must have worked with 
orchestras at some point.

Or, did he get discovered and turned more in a pop music direction?

Like I say, I know next to nothing about him, but he must have 
managed the conducting problem somehow.
