Hi, Brandon,
I use a braille note for my class work.  I took a music class 
last year and when we had dictation, it was strictly rhythmic, so 
what I did was write out in words what the rhythm was.  For 
example, eighth eighth quarter quarter half or something like 
that.  I don't know what you would do for actual notes.  My guess 
is that you probably would write it in a brf or maybe plain text.
