First, you can still get analog pendulum type metronomes, or quartz 
ones with the dial. Those are pretty simple.

As far as I know, there isn't a talking metronome available.

You probably don't need a really expensive one like the Boss DR. 
Beat models.

If you want a computer-based metronome, PG Music have a software 
program called Metronome Pro that has keyboard shortcuts for every 
function, and has lots of advanced features if you need those. It's 
only $19.95.
