Hello,
I would also like to know what people have found to replace the IPA cymbals when learning other languages?
My teachers center the majority of their lessons around using IPA cymbals, so when I come in it's almost like I'm coming in to my freshman year of high school and not knowing how to read.
I usually change the Jaws language to that that I'm learning and go word by word and just do repetitive process to memorize an aria, but my diction is only about 85% when it needs to be 100%, so I'm wondering if there is any other way I can learn a song in another language without not actually knowing the rules 100% of that language?
Thanks,
Brandon Keith Biggs

Subject: [Menvi-discuss] Learning Music Techniques?
Hello,
I have a couple questions:
First, what metronome seems to work the best for blind musicians? I was thinking one of the older ones with the dials you tern to set the speed with markings on it, but if there is another one or perhaps a talking one, I would really love to know.
Second, My teacher is basically telling me that we aren't going anywhere else till I get my timing perfect to the last 32nd note.
I'm wondering if there is a method people have used to mark the beats in the words of their music?
I was thinking of Brailing out the words and putting a 456 for each beat, but I'm not sure if that is the most efficient.
What do other people use?
Also, what is a grave sign in Braille? And what is a umlaut sign in Braille?
è and ü
Thank you,
Brandon Keith Biggs
