Hello,
Thank you for the responses. I've been in contact with my Braillest
and teacher since sending my last email. In the meantime my aid is
going to braille the test as best she can, and my teacher is aware
that there will be things on the test that may have gotten lost in the
translation. Thankfully, he is verry willing to work with me orally
until this issue is resolved.
Thanks for the feedback regarding braille transcribers and theory
tests as well. I will be contacting my transcriber shortly to discuss
arrangements for future tests and exams, as well as going through the
process of teaching my teacher the necessity of making tests up
farther in advance so that the transcriber has enough time to work on
the test and send it back for embossing. As some may know, that might
be the most challenging part, especially if a teacher has been
teaching a certain way for several years and isn't used to writing
tests in enough advanced time for a transcriber to do their work).
However, I am hopeful that I will be able to resolve this issue.
Thanks again for your help.
