You would need two things:
1. a Braille copy of the music and
2. knowledge of how print music looks on the page, so you can 
explain it to your sighted student.  This would include knowledge 
of the staff, it's lines and spaces, treble and bass clefs, 
different note shapes and their flags and stems, rests, time 
signatures etc.
