This is an interesting one. I haven't seen a thread based on this particular question before. I do know that there are things that you might be able to find in the itunes store, but I'm not too sure if there is anytthing to help tune. I'm curious to see what our members have to say on this one.

  Subject: [Menvi-discuss] harp tuning

  Hi All,

I am writing from an organization in Australia that assists people with disabilities when commercial available equipment is not suitable for their needs.

We have had a request from a harpist who has macular degeneration for assistance to tune her instrument. She is unable to tune by ear and cannot read displays on commercially available equipment. She has commenced learning the harp as an adult, and is thoroughly enjoying it. She knows that she will eventually learn to tune the harp by ear, but in the meantime....We have looked at iphone type apps, guitar tuners etc. We are happy to adapt a piece of equipment that could help out.

Does anyone have any experience of this problem.

  Thank You

  Joan Ryan
