The schools that I've worked with that are exceptional in both music
teaching and providing accessibility for the blind are University of New
Mexico, The University of the Pacific and New England Conservatory. I'm sure
there are many more who stand above the rest in these areas, but these three
are exceptional in both areas.

Subject: [Menvi-discuss] Braille music in Turkey
Hi All,
I am teaching braille music and piano to a blind exchange student from
Turkey. She is very musical and wants to continue her studies when she
returns home to Turkey next summer. Is there anyone on the list from Turkey
or who would know the situation there for obtaining braille music and what
format is primarily used, etc.?
Also, after high school she would like to return to the states for an
education in both music and teaching visually impaired, so any
recommendations on a school with both would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Teresa
